Meet Christie Reznik. She works in business development at Rapid Prototype and Manufacturing, a 3D printing or additive manufacturing company.
Besides business development, Christie also works on some marketing initiatives, she helps update the company website and she also takes care of customer service.
As far a business development work, Christie will spend much of her day calling or emailing clients, working on quotes for them. When it comes to customer service work, she takes care of things like entering orders and works on invoices for customers. Christie is very excited about working in the 3D printing industry. It’s an exciting field that’s changing fast. She says it’s a great field especially for those interested in sales or engineering. There’s plenty of career opportunities and chances to learn.
Christie started out at Cuyahoga Community College because she didn’t know exactly what she wanted to do. She earned an associates degree then went on to Kent State for public relations and communications. Christie says you may start a job or career and realize that you have an interest in something else. But don’t let that stop you. She suggests you take classes or do what you can to learn about the other career or job you are interested in.

Christie has an Associates Degree of Science, Business Administration from Cuyahoga Community College.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Communication and Public Relations from Kent State University.
